When I removed lower unit to replace impeller the tube came out with the pump when I try put tube back in it doesn't seem like it's going where it should . I'm working on The motor upside down lower unit facing up . Any help greatly appreciated
The tube is supposed to stay up in the exhaust housing.-----Some will argue , but this requires a lot of work to install this item properly.----Water tube installs from the top.-----Power head should be removed for this job !!

remove the water tube from the lower end (pump grommet)
with the LU out take a flashlight and look up the into the engine and try to insert the water tube in the PH (put some grease on the tube to aid insertion in the top ) rotate the tube to line it up with the pump grommet when you insert the LU
bolt it up
hopefully you don't need to take this thing apart ...somewhat complex process
