1969 Merc 350 no fire!!

I just replaced the points and coils on my 35hp merc but I still have no fire. The points and coils got burned because of an incorrectly installed wiring harness. The only thing that I have not replaced are the condensers. Upon visual inspection the condensers look fine, but I don't really know how to check them.The ignition is a standard magneto setup. Any advice??

Look closely at the plastic insulators on the points terminal wire under the flywheel, they have been known to short to ground and you may not see it until you take them out and look for a blackened spot or a crack.
