1969 Mercury Prop HELP!

Hey all

I have a 1969 Mercury 500 #2629264. On a 14' 1964 Mirror Craft Ski and Troll. The prop is so worn I cant read the numbers on it. I would like to get a new one. I called Mercury and they said that they dont have anything new because the prop has 11 splines. I have some numbers from a Solex manual, A-48-32182 A-13 and A-48-32186 81-12. Can I just go to a dealer and purchase a prop?

The reason I would like to change out the prop is that at top end I think it spins.. I would like a little sore performance but not too much. I still would like to just cruise along and pull a tube once in a blue moon.

I am a little new to the boat world so any direction or advice is welcome.

This about your only choice for new. The problem is the 11 spines. Look at the 35-50 HP props, 62-69. Mercury Outboard Boat Propellers - propco marine boat propellers
