Hello again,

First I have to say THANKS to all the people contributing to this forum. I learn so much from you people. My second question for today is:
On the 1970 60 HP Johnson engine, should I see water being exhaused above the water from the engine somewhere as an indicator that my water pump is working and cooling the motor? So far I have not seen any visible signs of water or a "pee hole" from my engine to indicated the engine isbeing cooled properly. I was hoping someone could tell me where to look or how to tell if my water pump should be serviced?

If you have not replaced the impeller in the last 2 years you need to do so. they can go bad setting in the garage dry out ect.Do that first

There is no pee thingy. The indicator is water spraying out the two exhaust relief holes on the rear of the midsection. It's just a spray, not a hose.
