I recently obtained a 1970 60 HP looper Mod# 60ESL70B. Went out out yesterday and started it on the muffs. Started right up and although it didn't run real smooth, it ran consistently and didn't want to die. Shut it off after about 15 minutes, tried to start it back up about 5 minutes later. Nothing. No spark to any of the 3 cylinders. I let it set for about an hour and it started right up like there was no problem. Later in the day, I tried it again. Same thing. Started right up but after shutting it down, it would not restart for about 45 minutes. No spark. I have about a dozen different manuals covering a hundred different models , but of course I don't have one for this. Any ideas on what may be causing this? Thanks.

Thanks. I removed the flywheel and could find nothing obviously wrong with points, distributor cap. I should mention that I'm pretty sure I'm getting fuel. I verified the no spark on all 3 holes while cranking using a timing light.
