Ok, I posted last saturday about my motor, I mistakenly identified it as a 1977 Evinrude. Anyways, I did all the things that you guys mentioned, and I appreciate the tips. Unfortunatly, none of them worked, so I ordered a new, replacement starter. I got it today and put it on and when I turn the ignition, all I hear is the click, but thats it, it doesn't engage the starter whatsoever. Is this the solinoid, or something else? Any help would be appreciated.
