So it dose shift which is awesome one good thing I have found out with this motor, would missing the anti reverse spring cause it to have no spark?

We often see the spring ground to dust from lack of lubrication. Otherwise no, simply being missing will not cause lack of spark. But it might run backwards (yes it can).
