It's actually running quite well. I just picked it up from a guy that "fixed" it.
The carb was a mess leaking fuel, wrong lever on it, plugged idle circuit, link & sink was way out. You get the picture. I spent a couple bucks and redid the carb with a sierra kit, replaced the impeller. Actually runs good but I wont get to put it in the lake till next year.
It takes about 6 pulls to start from cold but after that it starts with little effort.
I thought the compression would be higher, but I will certainly take your word for it.
