I have recently aquired a 1970 inline 135 hp merc , for a restoration project on a 1970 cobia center console 16.5 ft . The motor had not been run for aprx. 7 yrs , but had a new power head in 94 . All of the interior engine wires are brittle and some fuel lines were leaking . I replaced the bad wires and fuel lines , but the motor still has a stutter and is lacking power . I am interested in purchasing all of the ignition components as well as the fuel lines and fuel pumps as well as a wireing harness for this motor . I would be interested in finding any web sites where I could find all of these parts at ( if possible ) reasonable rates . Any help would be appreciated . Also if any of you know of a good merc mechanic with these older inlines , in the Kansas City area , that would also be helpful .
