Anyone know the size of the black wire in this picture? Is very brittle and looks to be replaceable. Thank you.205E0C0F-C838-457C-AB8C-8ACDABA54DAD.jpeg

Typical of their wiring of that era.----Use any wire of similar size.-----They never thought these motor would last this many years.-----Had fun getting the carburetor off ?

Oh the Carb was so much fun to get out 😀. And the red loctite the previous owner used on the screws for the carb was the icing on the cake.

Now you know why there is a slot on starboard side and a relief on the port side mounting hole.
