1970 Pipestone Fuel Filler/Tank info

Need info @ fuel filler and tanks used on 1970 Pipestone boats. I had a fuel leak in the bow of my boat,pulled 18ga metal trapozoid tank and leak checked. welds & seams checked >okay. Filler neck to tank was makeshift and definately not original.Have tried replacing with 1 1/2" Marine grade rubber hose , but unable to make bends. Does anyone have any info. or know how I can get info on the fuel pipeing/tank on this boat? The company sold out to Bayliner in the early 70's

Did you use fuel hose for it ?<br /><br />Good quality has metal insert in hose to prvent kinking, but you cannot make very sharp bends.<br />If you need a new tank for bow, I have new plastic 18gallons made for that purpose, they are reasonable.
