1971 50hp johnson

I need a true wiring diagram for a 1971 50 hp johnson electric shift is is model 50ESL71 I have a new clymer shop manual but the only thing even close in the book is a diagram for a 1972 65 hp and it is close but not right. please help!!!!! nobody out there have a wiring diagram?

dena I have the diagram for a 69 thru 70 40 hp with generator if this will help let me know and i will e mail it to you has yours got a generator or alt we will try to help. there are several possibilities in my manuel but they jump the 50 for some reason. but do have the 55hp
