Hello again,
I have a 1971 60 horse hydroelectric shift. Just had carbs redone and new fuel lines added at the marine shop. Problem is it starts great on muffs and throttles up good. When on the lake it wants to die when i give it throttle. After pumping it a few times i can manage to get it to run and boy it flies. Planes out great and doesnt hickup...untill...i throttle down to nuetral. Then it dies and will turn over but not start. The mechanic said it could be resistance in the coil pack or something. Wanted to bring this to you guys before forking out more money to him if i could check it myself. What or how should i check it? Thanks in advance.
