I have a 1971 Chrysler 55HP outboard and the lower unit is leaking . It's leaking out of what looks like a weep hole or tiny freeze plug. There is two small holes and only one is leaking. Any ideas ?

I believe they are weep holes.
That's unburned gas/oil.
Drain the oil and see if there is water??

Don't remove the screw on the side to drain the oil.
The plug is on the bottom.
The screw on the side is a linkage anchor pin and can be a B to replace.

That's possible but drain the oil and check for water.
The leaking oil will be replaced with water.
You have 6 places that it can leak.
The shift rod seal and the driveshaft seal are the ones that will leak into that space.
