I just recently bought a 1971 crestliner for 250 bucks. It has an excellent hull and 50 merc.I am looking for pics of original seats.Im not sure of the model .Its a 14 foot fiberglass v with no walkthrough.I have the rear seat it hasan aluminum frame and dips down in the middle to contour w the fiberglass.the front seats are currently pedestals and obviously not original. Its in amazing shape for its age and I would like to restore it as close to original as possible. Also I believe I found the original vinyl under a couple of bad reupholster jobs on the backseat.I havent been able to find it in a store anywhere but I know it was popular in the early 70s because i remember my father having a similar vinyl on bar stools around that time. the vinyl is black w stripes about an inch or so apart the strypes are about an eighth of an inch wide pressed into the vinyl w little hash marks to resemble diagonal stitches.Any ideas where to find this vinyl or retro vinyl in general.Id put some pictures up but it is stored a ways fgrom my home.any info would be greatly appreciated.
