is there another block that would swap with my 18hp? i have a line on a 1974 25 which is the same a 1973 18hp. maybe some of you even know about others. let me know george
There are a whole buncha years and models that will fit. It would take all night to research and list them all. Are you talking about complete powerheads or short blocks? I ask because stuff like cylinder heads and reed plates vary. Cylinder heads especially, because that's one of the things that make it 18-20-25hp. And no you can't just indiscriminatly go swapping them around, because the pistons are different too.
