1971 evinrude lark 50hp - steering conversion

the engine is currently rigged with pulleys, and id like to transfer it to another boat; which has push-pull steering through the transom plate of a mercury, which doesnt run.


can i get the evinrude in there and use the (better) steering system?

is there a kit for this? or just a matter of slight home fabrication?

you need a transom mount kit for the steering.
