Hey all,

thanks, and sorry if I wasn't supposed to post here. I looked for a "what's it worth" section :)

Force engines have an undeserved bad reputation and the price reflects consumer concerns. The 1971 hull is what? 42 years old and NOT a desirable color or design. I think NADA was being generous on that one at 350.

If the boat is in good condition and if the upholstery is decent AND if the engine runs well, you would consider it as doing very well to sell it for 1000 bucks--boat, engine, and trailer.

I don't see any seats in that one and the vinyl flooring /siding appears to be missing. Although the outside of the hull looks decent, most people won't want to buy it. 750 would be a reasonable asking price. You might have to settle for 500 and quite frankly, without the hull dragging it down in value, you should be able to get that for just the engine and controls. We sell Force 50HP engines for around 500 bucks.

The "book" is way off on Force outboards.
You are gonna pay more than it suggests.
The boat's old and it's a tri-hull.
I don't mind them,most don't like them.
What you can expect is what someone is willing to pay???
I paid $1500 for my current boat.It needed some work and trailer work.
But I don't think I could buy it again for that price??
Mine came with twin/88 85hps.
Mine is a different one than the one in the pic.
