I posted a week or so ago about how to get my 1971 mercury 115hp engine started. Well I've replaced the fuel pump diaphrams and redid the carb's (needle, seat, and gaskets). I also found one fuel line that was leaking and replaced it. Well I got it back together tonight, pulled the plug's and shot some gas in it. Fired it up and it started, but just for a second and then it died. I know it was just running off the gas I used to prime it, but my question is what else to check to see why it won't stay running? Will any leak in the fuel lines cause it not to run?
