I am looking for a used distributor for a 1971 mercury 800 in line 4 that will work for the 332-2986 switchbox? Mine has took a **##..

So whats wrong with the one you've got? Those things are really hard to come by and very expensive if you have the good fortune to find one.

Its often cheaper to buy a complete motor for parts.

The little arm that comes across the steel window disk is broke therefore it wont run.Other than that its in good condition.I think I am going to try to drill a small hole on each side and screw it back on with sinkers.
