Well thanks to everyones help on here I finally got the bloody thing started!!!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5JO4E0ZA44
It's been sitting for 2yrs since I bought it last week, I first started it 2 days ago, it had a bad miss/lean sneeze but that seems to have disappeared since running today. I started it today, after 5min it died (first start of the day), I started it up again and all of a sudden it's idling a lot higher, it was so loud it scared the crap out of me (sounded like a 500rpm increase or something). Since this the "bad miss" has disappeared entirely.
Could this be caused by crap stuck in the carbies or something??
What do you think? Does it run any good? It sounds a bit rattly and sneezy to me around the 30 sec mark but I'm no marine mechanic.
It just randomly died at the end of the video (it does this randomly when the throttle idle is on lowest or close to), the fuel bulb seems to have lost pressure, I'm blaming the dying on a fuel line leak, from the video can you tell if it's a fuel or spark issue that causes it to die?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, Cheers.
