I have finally found a switch and installed it. Question. I have five wires, purple, blue, green and two whites. One white goes to the key switch and the other goes out the remote control and appears to go to the back of the boat. I may be wrong. Anyways what happens if i cross the white wires or get them backwards from the new switch I got. Unfortunately I don't have a wire diagram for the switch and the switch that I got does not look exactly the same but had all the right colors of wires and came in the brand new box with the right part number. Does anyone have the wiring diagram? Below is my information or advice. Thanks.

If I remember correctly, the white wires are the neutrial safty switch. I don't think it makes any difference whitch terminal they hook to as long as the neutrial circut is complete.
