OK, sorting out this new to me motor, is the choke plunger supposed to pop out 1/2 way as soon as the key is turned to ON? Then it goes the rest of the way to 'choke' when you flick the toggle but it just doesn't seem right.....
Hmm I just read another post, this is the thermoswitch applying what it thinks is the correct amount of choke for the engine temp? There was a service bulletin to disable it for the 1973 115 but what would the wiring changes be for the 1972 65 hp?
