1972 chrysler outboard question

just resently bought a 1972 seasprite a few weeks ago it has 120 chrysler outboard. took the kids tubing for the first time. when i shut the engine down and restart it has a buzzer that goes off in the dash area around the key ignition . once i engage into gear it takes a few seconds and it does go off.. is this something that is normal .or could i have a problem .

My 1st guess would be a temp sensor..
Is the engine overheating?
