have 1972 85hp v4 evinrude that had a cdi box 113-7123 and matching coil. the motor was runnin great and then started cutting out. went through inspection process and found the coil wire was broke goin into the coil. looked on line and for this old motor they sell amp and coil as a package ,not seperate. broke down and bought one. installed per cdi instructions. followed completly.. we had checked points before repalcing power pack and also found one set of points were worn so replaced and gapped at .010. put everthing back togeteher and now i get intermittant spare on 3 cylinders and no spark on #4 at all. did the trouble shooting prcedure from cdi and all tested well.. this motor has great compression.. at a loss.help please. thx for your time advance. good old motor hate giving up on her.i kinda like to old stuff.
