Try the Top Secret files at the top of this forum for salvage yards.

bombardier makes alot of parts but i think salvage yards may be the only source for the control box parts. i bought shift solenoids about 5 years ago. should still be able to get them. i might consider selling the spares i pulled out of my parts lower unit i bought for the reverse gear and clutch dog if you cant find them elsewhere.

Scott

i just read your note about the selenoids for a 72 65 hp evinrude, i have one thats driving me nuts
test test test and still cant get it to shift out of forward gear,
i did the test on the lower unit, motor running i put voltage from the battery in the boat to both
green and blue leads seperately and to both at once, nothing happens to the shifting, i ordered
a used button shifter it seems to work fine, i have five wires that go to the switch, two white ones
that are not mentioned in how to wire.
Maybe you can help , if its the selenoids what do u want for yours, i dont know if i should part this
thing out or try to fix it, its a great motor.

Elord, that stuff shows up on E-bay once in a while.

David, you should start your own thread. It is not polite to hijack someone else's thread.
