i have a 1973 evinrude short shaft 25hp tiller..does anyone know where i can get the extension kit to make it a long shaft? tryed evinrude and they don't make it anymore. cann't find it on the net.<br />thanks for you help

I think you've already made contact with me via my e-mail address (below), that is if you're the same person who need a electric starter bracket, etc. If you're not that person, contact me via my address below and I'll relate the info to you.<br /><br />At any rate, I have only the driveshaft and the long bolt that would be required to go through the 5" extension housing. I can advise you of the other items you would need.

Hey Buddy, I recently purchased the lower unit off of a 1982 25 longshaft Johnson. I have a 1978 short shaft 20 horse johnson. Anyway, I used the l/u only for the gears and I have the 5" extension piece and the shift shaft along with a couple other pieces that are necessary for a longshaft.
