I have a 1973 johnson 20hp and I have installed a carb kit and new plugs. It idles ok in test tank and runs good, or seems to. When it has a load on at full throttle the rpms are low but it does not miss. Once in a while it will spit for a second and act like it wants to run correctly but that is all there is.
