Re: 1973 Johnson Powershift ll shift rod disconnect
Go to shop.evinrude.com and look up your mtr. Go to cylinder and crankcase. Look up bolt # 12,and loosen that. Then spread arms # 13 and that will release the upper shift linkage. Don't lose the little bushing in the shift rod.
