1973 Merc 1150 I/L 6 weight

Hi can any owners out there that have had or know of this motor - 1973 Merc Tower Of Power 1150 Do you know roughly how much this motor weighs? Lbs or Kgs besides a smarta** answer "HEAVY" ha beat u to it lol Ok seriously need to know as I'm looking to pick one up literally by myself or call a buddy But most-likely I'm on my own so if you can provide me with this info that would be great !! You should be able to carry the gearcase by itself, or the powerhead by itself, but together with the midsection, it will be too heavy for one person. If you get stuck, and are really strong, you could remove the gearcase and toss that in the vehicle, and then drag and "horse" the rest into the vehicle.

You will want to replace the waterpump parts anyway, so taking the gearcase off is not an extra effort.
