I need help on how to repair this place in the pic. What happen was a root went in to the drain hole and went up and pop a hole and now the wood is rotted. You can knock on the outside of boat and it's hollow 8" to 12" the rest is soild. Hear are some other pics. What is the best way to cut the white floor out. as you see someone cut apart of it out. they layed plywood back down for a new floor. What i want to do is cut the rest of the floor so i can pull out all the foam and let the boat fully dry out. I will put the white floor that i cut and back in. I'm thinking about using 1/2" marine wood for the new floor. Would the be good enough or do i need to go bigger?

i think you are gong to be replaceing more than the floor.

but lets start there....get the deck up....and take the foam out....it wont dry out...it needs to be replaced

then a 1.2 inch exterior grade ply will be fine for the deck.....marine grade will be of no extra benefit for the cost.

The foam is dry just some small spots are wet. I'm gonna pull all foam out and wash the hull out and let it dry.

Wow a Powercat! Nice boats and rare.

Yes, I agree with oops........ pull all the foam, 1/2" plywood is fine and keep posting lots of pictures.
