Hey Guys, I have a couple questions. I have a 1973 70hp Chrysler outboard on my boat, and it's run nicely I might add, but I now need to do a couple repairs I think on it, and need some help/advice.<br /><br />1st...I beleive my impellor on my water pump is almost shot. my water pump light comes on at full throttle, but goes off at mid and low throttle ranges. I hooked it up to a hose and sure enough if is just spitting out a little water, and not a nice stream. plus it is pretty warm water coming out. So my first question is how do I change the impellor on this motor, is it easy, or should I take it to a shop to do?<br /><br />Next I want to put in a new steering setup. the cable steering in the boat is getting old, and hard to turn, and the cables are getting chewed up and get stuck on the steering spool from time to time. I want to replace this setup with a NON cable (yet simple) setup. what do you guys suggest? my boat is a 1973 Crestliner tri-hull Muskie fisher and the motor is the 1973 chrysler 70 hp outboard.<br /><br />Thanks for any help<br />Dan
