1974 25R74 Gearcase Lube

Hi All,

I've got a service manual for my 74 25hp Johnson and was looking for the proper fluid to use in the lower unit. It says if you can't get Sea-Lube Gearcase Lube you should use Dexron transmission fluid!! Is this right?
