Hi Gustav
Be sure your fuel tank is vented. Then test for spark at both plugs. Then test for compression. Post back with the results along with the model# of your motor.

hello alcan, and all, my petrol can has a vent, but it was tight down, and the plastic container was sucked in, unscrewed it and let the air in.
checked compression ok.
checked for spark on both plugs. only 1 sparking,
the lead to the one which does not spark looks newer, than the other, any more help on what next?
thanks everyone. gustav

Hi gustav
Well it's a good job your manual is coming, even though it's by carrier pigion. Your going to have to pull the flywheel and check the points and ignition or magnito coils. You may have dirty points or a cracked coil. It may be a bare wire, etc. Check the kill switch circut first. You must have a very good motor. Spark on only one hole and had to suck the fuel tank flat for gas. Better keep this one.
