1974 70 Evinrude Hustler

Had the motor running on muffs in the yard and had water ocasionally drip from the exhaust cover bolts on the port side of the motor. Bolts seem to be tight. Could be a blown cover gasket?

Could be a gasket, could be the bolts are seized and you cannot get them any tighter. Either way, you need to remove the cover and check it out.
