1974 evinrude 50 fuel pump

Can anyone tell me if the fuel pump for this motor can be rebuilt? The manual says "no user servicable parts", but it looks just like other rebuildable pumps out there. If it can be rebuilt, can someone supply me with the kit number? Thanks, Ken

Yes you can rebuild your pump. The kit number is 393103. They are usually less than 20 bucks. My advice is to be very carefull when you take the old one apart and lay out the parts exactly as they come off the pump. This way you can reverse the process and put it back together the right way.

I got the kit and rebuilt my pump. Works great, thanks again, Ken
