1974 evinrude 50 lark help needed

Looking for a a exhaust or gear case extender as mine is cracked
Is there anyone who knows of one and or a shorter drive shaft and water shift tube to convert it back to a short shaft
My power head and gearcase are excellent

I'm in Vancouver BC Canada. We can't find a part #. Bought the boat a month ago. Went to change the impeller and can't get the gear head off. Kinda want to smash the extender apart but need the parts first

Sorry----I do not know what a " gear head " is.-----I do not know what an " extender " is.-----Find the part #'s at------evinrudeparts.ca-----You are 5 days drive away, so hands on will not work.

Sorry gear case. I'll send some pics. Checked the site the part wasn't there. It's the aluminum housing between the exhaust housing and gear case 5" high ish

I have never seen that part from factory on a motor like that.----.------I believe that is an after market kit-----Bay manufacturing.-----

Yes all the bolts are out.LOL I bought the boat motor and trailer at an estate sale for $500 so no info available. Assuming it's aftermarket I sent Bay an email to see if the kit is still available if not I'll just switch it back to a short shaft
