Hello, my boat runs fine at home, but on the water it is bogging down under load. Sometimes it will run wide open at 50% of time. Fresh fuel with additive to help but still bogging down. Please help! Thank you!
Hard to tell much running the engine on the trailer. May seem to run just fine, when only firing on 2 of the 4 cyls. When you get it into the water and under load is when you need all 4 of them firing. Check for spark on each plugwire once the engine heats up to normal operating temps. A cyl-drop test or spark-gap test may tell you something.
