For trolling alot of fishing would a <br />C<br />Champion# UL81C be best or another plug<br />Converting this motor to 15hp carbs later on for mostly high speed on hydro what plugs would you suggest to start with Thanks guys

UL81C IS THE ONLY THE BOOK CALLS FOR..

the suppercesion is to the L82C<br /><br />Or the L86C could be used. For higher RPMs used the L82C.

Next common plug I see is a L77JC4.<br /><br />Might be too cool though.

L82C is probably good thru 7000 rpms... You going to run it harder than that you're gonna need more than plugs... :)

If you do a lot of low speed trolling you might gap the plugs a little wider. you won't notice it on the top end. Example: If they are supposed to be gapped at 30 set them at 40. Joe Reeves came up with this and for the last two years it has served me well.

Thanks guys I will be playing around with it till it's to it's peak of performance for sure The nephew will have a blast in the hydro that's complete now just setting the engine up next step the journey begins
