1974 Merc 165 4 barrel swap.

I have a 1974 merc 165 with a inline 6. My question is does a 4 barrel carb fit on the manifold?

No but you can find a 4bbl manifold for the automotive application and use it on your boat, Just make sure the carb and spark arrester are coastgaurd approved.

But my manifold is exhaust also. How would it swap?

I was only looking since I need a new manifold anyway. Mine rusted out. Anyone know where to get used manifolds?
