If you hear the trim motor runin but it isn't moving you have run low on fluid. You can fix that buy adding more fluid to your trim pump housing. this unit is normally to the left side of your engine and there is a small fill plug on the top of the resvoire that says fill or oil fill. You will fill it with power steering fluid if is the normal type unit. You should fix the leak as well to prevent that form happening again.
