1974 wellcraft 20' "step-v"

luv this boat but has single drainage port from slashwell thru center of transom exactly where outboard motor attaches to transom...there is clearance but minimal so easily clogged...should i install new drainage on each side of motor or put spacer between transom and engine's bracket...any other ideas

i had this model wellcraft. i put 2 scupper holes at each end of spashwell and plugged the center one <br /><br />mad max
