1975 115hp please help im at wits end

Ok guys here we go I have honestly had it and tonight was my breaking point<br /> Here is what I have done and what engine is doin<br /><br /> Boat didn't want to run would keep stalling so I changed the spark plugs and coils didnt help any, rebuilt the carbs and that helped boat would run better and better <br /> Than the engine would start missing so I did a spark test and found 2 cyl would lose spark bought new power pack that solved that problem <br /> But the boat still misses at a low idle and will just stall turn key and starts back up <br /> Where should I go with this next <br />Please help before I go out and cover it and deal with it in the spring

Take a squeeze bottle of premix and when it starts missing squirt some premix directly into the carbs. If it smooths out my bet is that you still have some crud in the carbs.<br /><br />Do you have a manual for troubleshooting? If not - - - - -

Not saying it's normal... but my 70 115 has a slight....and I mean slight miss at idle... and like you after it runs a bit it will die(5 min)mostly in the drive... and start right back up. Besides that the engine has ran fine. I like you have rebuilt carbs, wires plugs, coil, power pak... and since it fires right back up it hasn't bothered me. Just thought I'd throw that in...lol why? I don't know<br /><br />Lync and sync is how the throttle linkage is in reference to the timing advance, when the throttle opens and timing advances... needs to be set up or it can bog down etc.... Joe reeves has a good thing on it... do a search and learn some more... =o)
