Recently put 25 hp johnson on my 14' marine fisher. Motor had nos park when I got it , cleaned carb and points, ran good for a couple days then quit. Recleaned points and ran good again for 2 days. Repleaced points condensers and ran good for 2 days then no spark on bottom cylinder. Removed flywheel ran some voltage tests everything checked out. Put flywheel on and it ran. Didnt make any adjustments just put flywheel back on. Havent taken it to lake yet but I will be bringing my flywheel puller with me. Tryin to get some advice as to what I can do to keep motor running, Have compression tester , but no spark tester, will try to nab spark tester and will post results.Any input would be greatly appreciated. I dont understand why it worked fine after taking flywheel off and no adjustment.

Could possibly have a bad crank seal letting your point get oil on them I would try cleaning everything with electrical contact spray and see if it get oily again after you run it a little.I was having alot of trouble losing spark on my 1975 25hp and figured out I had to much play in the bushing that is in the armature plate. Might won't to take a look at that to. With a spark tester on it and plugs out I could rotate the motor with a drill and go from no spark and wiggle on armature plate a little and get spark.

You can use a timing light to check for spark while the engine is running.
