1975 75hp evinrude water in lower unit

i have a 1975 75hp evinrude and when i run it, it get water in the lower unit is this something i can fix or do i need to take it to the boat shop. also dose anybody have a breakdown of the motor or a link to one any help will be greatly thanks.

also where dose the water come out of when running:confused:

Change the lower unit oil and put fresh seals on the drain and vent plugs. If you still get water in the lower, it will probably have to be reasealed. The factory seal kit will come with a new drive shaft seal, shift shaft seal, prop seals, carrier oring and carrier bolt orings, any of which can leak over time and with age. A marine shop will do a vacuum test and pressure test to validate the lower unit leak problem. You can see an exploded diagram at: epc.brp.com.
