i will take any info i can get.......i cant get any fire at any of the plugs......ran the ohms test on the sensor coils and they came back as having no resistance....i think by the way i understand the manual that no resistance means the coils are grounded out......but is it very likely that both would go out at the same time? Also i had this prob a month ago, then last weekend i styarted troublshooting and unhooked the black/yellow wire and got a spark....when i rehooked it it kept firing and ran fine for 3 days .....then suddenly died again wednesday.....last night i unhooked every wire, cleaned and greased all connections and ran ohm,s test to verify every wire was good....all is well....right now i am convinced the sensor coils are bad but i am scared to be wrong at the cost of 300 dollars...any similar circumstances or advice would be great to here......also how do you test thepower pack without having to have that neon tester klight the manual refers to

What do you mean by "greased all connections"?

Did you put grease on the red cannon plug?

Have you tried unhooking the Blk/yellow wire again. That's the kill circuit wire. It could be grounding out somewhere on the motor block or even in the key switch

not sure what you are refering to as red cannon plug...i meant i applied electrical contact grease to all connections to repel water and prevent corrosion

yeah...black/yellow wire makes no difference now.....is it possible it was a freak accident that it worked before and the sensor coils just happened to come and go at that point...is it common for the sensors to come and go

is there any way to test the power pack w/o a neon test light? also was i doin right by hookin the ohmmeter to the two sensor coil lead on thge top and bottom ....

1 & 3 show no resistance as well as do 2 & 4

book says that means the coils are grounded....did i test it correctly......if so i will buy a new sensor unit****OUCH***
