1975 chrysler 90 hp lower unit

I am going to do a lower unit seal kit on my 1975 chrysler out board motor with 90hp and I need to know what I am up against? Or what I need to prepair myself for? I have done a water pump on this motor but the seals have never been done. So I need to know if it is like rebuiling and old carb from a car with 200 ball bearings falling all over the place or is it easier than that.

robbluhm <br />I'm not familiar with the Chrysler lower units, but you would be well advised to pick up a Manual and read through it before you tear into it. That will give you an idea of what to expect when you tear it down. But I can tell you that it should be pretty straight forward. You may need some type of puller(s) to do the job, but there won't be any unexpected parts falling out. Good Luck and others may be able to get you started with more info.
