1975 ebbtide lakemaster newby from kentucky

Hello all my name is Chris I just acquired a 1975 ebbtide lake-master its in roughish shape. but its solid it has no seats what you see is what i got this is my first boat i wanted to learn and i love fixing up cars so i thought i would try my hand at boats my plan is to paint the now maroon strip to corvette red with white or black interior or maybe red itself the boat is rated for a 70 hp outboard i am gonna shoot for a 50 if a 60 or 70 comes up for a good deal I will put it on I wanna install a auto trim and update the speedo gauge. I work in IT all help and advice is appreciated i have 3 kids and a wife we all look forward to useing this boat next boating season the plan is to restore it through the rest of this year and winter.

Be prepared to dump 2 to 3 grand into it to make it sea worthy , other than that i'm sure others will be along shortly with material lists and what not:) welcome to forums:)
