:confused:Picked up a replacement block for my 25 that needs boring. Block included reed plate block and intake.

The oil lines are what is bothering me. The replacement a screw in the #2 exhaust cover plate (upper cyl), and the line from the base of the motor to the top of the intake side of crank case. There is an oil line at the bottom of the intake manifold, that on my good motor goes to a nipple where the screw is on the #2 exhaust cover. The screw that is in the cover is painted, leading me to think that it was there when the motor was born. The parts diagram at shop.evinrude.com shows a screw in this cover, as well.

My question is, where does the other end of this hose connect to?

I believe you will find that line was year dependent. They show the same on my 6hp but it has no such oil pipe. nor do many others I have seen. You should be able to move your fittings over if you need.
