1975 Glastron Carlson CV 16 SS restoration

So I recently picked up a 75 CV 16 SS it's got a 302 with a volvo 280 Sterndrive. I know this is a ford motor but don't really know much about ford's nor have I ever had I/O. Some idiot took some of the parts off the boat about a year ago and left things in a mess and I'm now trying to research what parts to order or even what this motor is considered. Then comes the whole reverse rotation issue that I've read a little about. I'm fairly mechanically inclined but this is a new idea for me any help would be greatly appreciated.
